Q.  I purchased a certificate but never received it.  What do I do?

You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  The first thing you should do is check the Spam folder in your email.  If it's there, make sure you add our email address to your address book.  If it's not there, use the Contact us form to let us know and we'll respond as quickly as possible.

Q.  I signed up for the mailing list, but I haven't received anything yet?

Q.  Can I purchase an offer I saw yesterday?

A.  No.  Our offers are available for a limited time only.  We provide a timer that shows exactly when the offer will be taken down and replaced by a new offer, so be sure act before the time runs out if you want to make a purchase.


Q.  Do I need to use my certificate before the timer runs out?
A.  No.  The timer shows when we will stop selling certificates, but the actual expiration of each offer is listed in the “Rules” are of the page.


Q.  How can I be sure these offers are real?

A.  We know many of our deals offer so much for so little that you might question how a business can offer such a discount, and you might wonder if this is real.  “Trust us”, probably isn't the answer you're looking for, so we suggest you contact the business being advertised to confirm any suspicions you may have.

Q.  I've gone green, and don't have a printer.  How can I use these?
A.  We're working on this one.  For now you do need to print the certificate and provide it to your local business at the time of redemption.


Q. How can I refer a local business to advertise on The Local Deal?

A. We love receiving suggestions from our customers.  If you know of any businesses that you would like to see advertised on our site, just write us a note in the “Contact us” form.  Feel free to suggest a deal too!  We'll contact the business and take care of the rest.
